Royal Enfield Enters Thailand; Will Launch Exclusive Store in Bangkok

Royal Enfield displayed its entire range of evocative motorcycles at the Thailand International Motor Expo, which includes the iconic Bullet 500cc, the retro-street models - Classic 500cc and Classic Chrome, and the Continental GT cafe racer.
Arun Gopal, International Business Head, Royal Enfield, said, "Our motorcycles are built to be timeless, uncomplicated, engaging, and accessible bikes for the city, as well as great touring or adventure rides, for novices, as well as experienced riders."
Along-with the motorcycles, the brand also introduced its latest gear and accessories collection for the Thailand market. The company has grown 50 per cent year-on-year in the last five years and this is from markets like India, Latin America and South East Asia. Arun Gopal added, "Thailand is among the largest two wheeler markets in the world and a very important one for Royal Enfield. With highly evolved consumers; Thailand is the most evolved country in South East Asia for leisure motorcycling. With a large commuter base, this market has enormous potential to upgrade to the next level of motorcycles, if there are enough attractive product choices. With our modern classic bikes, Royal Enfield is well poised to fill this gap and catalyze the shift to mid-size motorcycles in Thailand."
Royal Enfield will commence its retail operations at Thonglor in Bangkok, Thailand in the coming months, from its first exclusive dealership in Bangkok being set up in partnership with General Auto Supply (GA). In addition to the store, GA will also build service and aftermarket capability for Royal Enfield in the region.
Royal Enfield has been expanding its global footprint and the company already has its presence in cities like London, Madrid, Paris, Dubai, Bogota and Medellin. The company has already invested a lot in India and will expand its production capacity at its Chennai plant to cater to the demand. Royal Enfield also has plans to bring in some more bikes and that plan will be revealed shortly.
