Tata Harrier EV: Adult occupant protection

The Harrier EV managed a perfect score of 32 points out of a total of 32 points for adult occupant protection. Bagging 16 points apiece in the frontal offset deformable barrier crash test as well as the side movable barrier crash test, the Harrier EV has outdone its diesel-engine twin, which managed an adult occupant protection score of 30.08 points. What’s also interesting is this adult occupant protection score matches that of the Mahindra XEV 9e, the closest rival to the Harrier EV.

The test sheet revealed both the driver as well as front passenger test dummies had good protection in the frontal, side movable barrier, and the side pole impact tests.
