Tata Puts the Tiago AMT Through Its Paces Before Launch

- The Tiago will come with the same F-Tronic AMT unit as the Zest
- Tiago has got over 22,000 bookings in just 2 months since its launch
- The prices for the Tiago start at Rs. 3.2 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi)
(Tata Tiago AMT Interiors)The Tiago has garnered positive reviews from the automotive journalistic fraternity and decent feedback from the customers as well. It is finally on course to become a best-seller for Tata, who have found little success of late. In the first two months since its launch, it got over 22,000 bookings and has rolled out 10,000 units from Tata's Sanand facility. The prime reason for the Tiago's success has been its appeal and the fact that it is a well-rounded package offering complete value for money. Tata's aggressive pricing helped getting the numbers as well. What was sorely missed was an AMT version and Tata will soon be adding that to its Tiago portfolio as well.

With the sole exception of an AMT unit, there will be absolutely no changes to the looks or the interiors or the features offered. It all remains the same. The Tiago gets a 1.2-litre Revotron Petrol engine that is good for 83bhp and 114Nm of torque along with a 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel engine that produces 67bhp and 140Nm of torque.
