TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Gets a Custom Made Full-Fairing in Indonesia

- The custom full faired Apache 200 is a one-off showcased in Indonesia
- The mod includes custom rear seat cowl, swingarm and exhaust cover
- TVS' first full faired bike will be the Akula 310 showcased at the expo
The naked styling on the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V was disappointing for some, but the folks in Indonesia have managed to combat the issue by building a custom supersport version of the pocket rocket. The fully customised full-faired Apache RTR 200 has emerged in the South East Asian country, just days after an adventure tourer version made its appearance. It seems that both the modification jobs were taken up by the same builder and the bike gets an interesting upgrade over the stock version.
If a full faired TVS Apache 200 was your idea of customisation, then, this is where you should be taking notes from. Unlike the adventure tourer that retained the original styling, the full-faired Apache 200 gets an extensive redesign with a completely custom made fairing. The new lines meet the original styling well with air intakes flanked either side of the headlamp, tall windscreen and a protective cover on the fork. The fuel tank gets additional elements for a muscular look.

The instrument console, switchgear, seat and lights continue to remain stock on the customised Apache 200, while a custom made swingarm and exhaust cover have been added to match the new styling. The rear seat cowl completes the look on the custom made model. On the technical front, the Apache has received a custom chassis as well that gets finished in burgundy the gloss white paint scheme.
It is not clear as yet if the builder introduced any upgrades to the engine. In its stock form though, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V with EFI uses a 200cc single-cylinder motor that is tuned to produce 20.7bhp and 18.1Nm of torque. The motor is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Other mechanical bits include telescopic front forks and a monoshock setup at the rear, while braking duties are performed by disc brakes at the front and rear.

TVS Apache 200 Full Faired Custom Indonesia
It is possible that the modifications job is available at the dealer level in Indonesia. That said, any speculations of the Apache getting a full fairing can be put to rest as TVS has already showcased the Akula 310 at the 2016 Auto Expo, which will be the company's first full-faired offering and will be sharing its underpinnings with the BMW G 310 R with the latter expected to go on sale towards the end of the year. The Akula is likely to be launched in 2017 in the country.
