TVS iQube 3.1 kWh Launched In India At Rs 1.10 Lakh

TVS Motor Company has launched a new variant of the iQube electric scooter in the Indian market. Named the iQube 3.1 kWh, the new variant slots in between the 2.2 kWh and 3.5 kWh variants and is priced from Rs 1.10 lakh to Rs 1.12 lakh (on-road, Delhi, state subsidy inclusive) for the dual-tone colour variants. Featuring a 3.1 kWh battery pack, this version is aimed at buyers who are looking for an affordable electric scooter with a high battery range, and are willing to settle for a smaller features list.

The colour options offered with the new variant include- Pearl White, Titanium Grey, Walnut Brown, Starlight Blue-Beige, and Copper Brown-Beige. The list of features offered on the new variant includes a 5-inch non-touch display with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call and SMS alerts. Other features include anti-theft alert and a USB mobile charger.

With the 3.1 kWh battery pack, the iQube 3.1 delivers an IDC-certified range figure of 123 km. The battery pack powers a 4.4 kW electric motor, which is the same Bosch-sourced unit as the other variants of the iQube. The variant’s top speed is rated at 82 kmph. The 0-80 per cent SOC time for the variant is 4 hours and 30 minutes. The mechanical underpinnings of the electric scooter are the same, featuring telescopic forks up front and twin shocks at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 220 mm disc up front and a drum brake at the rear.
