TVS Launches Victor and Apache RTR 200 4V at Rs. 49,490 and Rs. 88,990

TVS has finally taken covers off the much-anticipated Apache RTR 200 4V, and the new Victor. After being spied on a number of occasions, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is finally here, and the bike will be offered in two avatars - carburetted and fuel injected. The standard version using a carburettor has been priced at Rs. 88,990, and the fuel injected unit will attract a price tag of Rs. 1,08,000.

The all-new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V uses a single-cylinder, oil-cooled, 197.75cc engine delivering 20.22bhp of maximum power at 8,500rpm in the carburetted version, and a marginally more 20.7bhp at 8,500rpm in the fuel injected version. Maximum torque remains the same for both the trims - 18.1Nm at 7,000rpm. This engine is complimented by a five-speed gearbox. Claimed top-speed of the carburetted version is 127Km/h, which increases to 129Km/h for the fuel injected unit. The bike also has the potential to do 0-60Km/h in 3.95 seconds.

At the front, the Apache RTR 200 4V has telescopic forks and a monoshock at the rear. TVS will also give two tyre options with the Apache RTR 200 4V - TVS Remora compound tyres as well as Pirelli rubbers. TVS also announced that it will soon launch an ABS version of the Apache RTR 200 4V, and will be priced around Rs. 1.15 lakh. No prizes for guessing that the top end variant will have fuel injection and Pirelli tyres.

A lot was being talked about the revival of the Victor brand. Well, it's finally here and still has a 110cc engine.
