TVS Raider 125 Launched In Latin America

TVS Motor Company has launched its new 125 cc motorcycle, the TVS Raider in the Latin America (LATAM) market. The new premium 125 cc motorcycle is built on a new platform and is already offered on sale in India and Nepal. The TVS Raider gets a mix of sporty and commuter in its looks. The design highlight is the new LED headlamp with the DRL that looks quirky. The model also gets the muscular-looking fuel tank with shrouds at the side and an engine guard. The Raider is available in a choice of four colours, Striking Red, Blazing Blue, Wicked Black and Fiery Yellow.

The TVS Raider is powered by a 124.8 cc, single-cylinder, three-valve engine that puts out 11.2 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission, and the bike also gets two riding modes, Power and Eco, with Power mode offering 10 per cent more power at the top-end of the power band. The TVS Raider gets telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, while braking performance comes from a disc and drum brake set-up. The base variant only gets drum brakes at either end. The bike comes with Combi Braking as standard.

The ergonomics of the TVS Raider is developed with supreme focus on the comfort and convenience of the rider. The bike gets a low seat height, balanced on a long wheelbase, perfect ergonomics triangle, and a mono-shock delivers engaging ride and handling.
