TVS Scooty Zest 110 Launched In New Matte Purple Colour Scheme

- The Scooty Zest continues to use the same 110 cc engine with 7.8 bhp
- The matte series adds a DRL, dual-tone coloured seat and a 3D logo
TVS Motor Company has introduced a new matte purple shade on the Scooty Zest 110 in the country. The colour scheme was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2018 and is available at the same price as the colours at Rs. 49,211 (ex-showroom, Delhi). TVS introduced the matte colour schemes on the Scooty Zest 110 last year and the scooter is already offered in four matte colours namely, red, yellow, black and blue. Apart from the new colour option, the 110 cc scooter does not get any cosmetic upgrades.
Power on the TVS Scooty Zest 110 continues to come from the same 109.7 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine tuned to produce 7.8 bhp at 7500 rpm and 8.4 Nm of peak torque at 5500 rpm. The suspension setup includes telescopic forks up front and a hydraulic monoshock absorber at the rear. The scooter gets drum brakes at either end with a 110 mm unit at the front and a 130 mm unit at the rear.
The TVS Scooty Zest 110 also comes with a 19 litre under seat storage equipped, USB charger and a daytime running light. The matte series specifically gets a boot light, dual-tone coloured seat, silver oak interior panels and a 3D Zest 110 logo. The Zest 110 continues to be a popular entry-level offering in the segment competing with the Honda Activa-i, Suzuki Let's, Hero Pleasure and the Yamaha Ray-Z.
Meanwhile, TVS has a new addition in the scooter segment with the NTorq 125. It is the company's first 125 cc offering and offers to be sporty and comfortable at the same time. It is also the country's first scooter to get Bluetooth connectivity and gets an LCD display that shows everything from navigation, SMS readouts, lap timer and more.
