Yamaha has introduced 3 new dual-tone body colours for their Alpha scooter. The dual-tone does make it a look peppy and that's what Yamaha is going for. The colours are such that they will appeal to the young audience.
The new colours introduced are called rocking red, beaming blue and gleaming gold. Of course the dual-tone coloured scooters come at a price and they are now Rs. 1,003 dearer than the others. The bikes now cost Rs. 49,939 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The rest of the scooter remains the same and there are no mechanical changes that have been incorporated. So, it still comes powered by a 113cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC petrol motor which is capable of producing 7 bhp and developing 8.1 Nm of torque.
Thanks to Yamaha's 'Blue Core' technology, the Alpha delivers a mileage of 66 km/l of mileage.
