Mahindra First Choice Plans to Open 125 Car Workshops This Year

Mahindra First Choice Services, a leading chain of multi-brand car workshop, will open 125 workshops this year across the country, including 25 in Rajasthan. Announcing the expansion plan, a senior official of the company said that in view of encouraging response from dealers, the company has decided to open 125 multi-brand car workshops from different parts of the country and invited applications from interested parties.
"There is a high potential for the multi-brand car servicing business in Rajasthan and to tap the opportunity, we are expanding our network in the state and plan to open 25 workshops by 2015," Alok Kapoor, Head Marketing and Franchise Business - Mahindra First Choice Services ltd, said today.
He said that the company has invited franchisee partners in cities which are in the radius of 300 km of the state capital.
A cluster of the franchise will be developed and a cluster warehouse will be set up in Jaipur in next one or two months and it will cater to these workshops.
"The warehouse will be set up under our spare parts management model. The warehouse will have parts of cars of multi brands and will cater to these workshops. The vehicle owner will not have to worry about parts as all the parts will be available with warranty through our warehouse," he said.
He said that the workshops would set up in Jaipur, Ajmer, Beawar, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Alwar, Dausa, Sawaimadhopur, Tonk and Kota district.
Besides, the company is also expanding its presence in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and other potential markets, Kapoor added.
