Actor Ranvir Shorey Brings Home A Brand-New Mahindra XUV700

Actor Ranvir Shorey, known for his versatile character roles in Hindi cinema, has recently bought a brand-new Mahindra XUV700. The Traffic Signal and Bheja Fry actor recently posted a photo of himself, with his new prized possession on social media with the quote - "White is the new Black" - a reference to popular American TV show 'Orange Is The New Black.' According to a quick search on the Transport Ministry's Vahan portal, the variant purchased by Shorey is the top-of-the-line Mahindra XUV700 AX7 Luxury Pack trim, powered by diesel engine and come with an automatic transmission and with all-wheel drive (AWD). Shorey also confirmed this while replying to a Twitterati's question.

The Mahindra XUV700 is one of the most popular SUVs in India right now, and since its launch in August 2021, the company has sold over 14,000 units of the flagship SUV and has received over 1 lakh bookings. The SUV is offered in four key trims - MX, AX3, AX5, and AX7, which are further divided into 23 different iterations based on engine, transmission and AWD choices. Prices for the XUV700 start at Rs. 12.95 lakh, going up to Rs. 23.80 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The top-of-the-line model purchased by Shorey would come at an on-road Mumbai price of nearly Rs. 29 lakh.

The SUV is offered in two engine options - a 2.0-litre GDI turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. Both come with the option for a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter unit. The XUV700 also offers a range of smart and high-end features like - LED headlights, LED DRLs, LED taillamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, premium interiors, ventilated seats, a wireless charger, 10.25-inch instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay. The XUV700 also gets Mahindra's connected car tech called AdrenoX, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and a 360-degree view camera among others.
