Auto Expo 2016: Tata Motors Line-Up Revealed

With the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo just around the corner, Indian conglomerate, Tata Motors has revealed the list of vehicles that it will display. The company will shed light on the host of new trucks, buses and commercial vehicles that the company has been working on and will also reveal the production ready iterations of 3 important upcoming passenger cars- the Nexon subcompact SUV, Hexa crossover SUV, Safari Storme Tuff, and the Zica-based KITE 5 (codename) compact sedan.
Tata, with design and execution partner Wizcraft, has charted the theme #TataMotorsSmartHub which is derived from the synergy between 'Smart Technology' and 'Smart Products.' The company will occupy the largest OEM stall at this year's expo and aims to provide a captivating and highly engaging all-round customer experience.
Among its list of new and upcoming commercial vehicles (CVs), some of the bigger inclusions will be the new Tata Prima World Truck, Ultra range of CVs, Ace Mega XL, and Magic Iris Ziva. There will also be a separate section dedicated to T1 Prima Truck Racing which will include a virtual racing championship game that will use Kinect technology for a fun game through hand gestures.

The list of passenger cars that Tata intends on revealing shows the company's plans to enter some of the most competitive segments including the increasingly popular subcompact SUV segment as well as the SUV and compact sedan segments. The Tata Nexon sub-4 metre SUV, which is likely to go up against the Mahindra KUV100 and upcoming Maruti Suzuki Ignis, will be previewed at the event alongside the production-spec version of the flagship Tata Hexa SUV. The Tata Safari Storme Tuff SUV will also be displayed. However the most eagerly anticipated of the lot will be the Zica-based compact sedan which is currently being referred to by its project name, KITE 5. The Bolt Sport will also find its way to the Tata pavilion. A dedicated Personalisation Studio will also be setup to allow visitors to virtually personalise a car. The Zica Activ, Zest and Hexa Tuff will be displayed to showcase their various types of stylish body kits.
Tata also recently launched its #madeofgreat campaign with the launch of the Zica. #madeofgreat will have its own pavilion at the expo which will host an interactive and engaging 'Fantastico Arena' which will include a design experience which will allow visitors to customize and then visualize a Zica hatchback.There will also be a virtual driving experience of the Zica as well as a series of games in which fans will get a chance to virtually interact with brand ambassador and living football legend, Lionel Messi. Besides this, audiophiles looking for a new car will be glad to know that there will also be an immersive sound experience powered by Tata's audio and infotainment system partner, HARMAN.
