FAME II Amendment: TVS iQube Sees Price Drop Of Rs. 11,250

- Prices for TVS iQube have been reduced by Rs. 11,250
- Prices now start at Rs. 100,777 (on-road, Delhi)
- TVS iQube is sold in Delhi and Bengaluru
With the revision of FAME II scheme, prices of electric two-wheelers are now being revised, or rather, reduced, courtesy of higher subsidy on electric two-wheelers. It was Ather announcing the revised prices first and now, TVS Motor Company has reduced the prices of the iQube electric scooter by Rs. 11,250 in Delhi and Bengaluru. The iQube is priced at Rs. 100,777 in Delhi and at Rs. 110,506 in Bengaluru. The prices mentioned here are on-road. The TVS iQube goes up against the likes of Ather 450X and the Bajaj Chetak.

(Features on TVS iQube include riding modes, geo-fencing and several safety features and a park-assist function)
The TVS iQube electric scooter is equipped with a 4.4 kW (6 bhp) electric motor with peak torque output of 140 Nm. Top speed is around 78 kmph, in Sport mode. The battery can be charged to 100 per cent capacity in around 5 hours, and maximum range is claimed at 75 km on a single charge in Eco mode; in Sport mode, range is claimed at 55 km.

The TVS iQube electric scooter also gets the next-generation TVS SmartXonnect platform with Bluetooth connectivity, advanced TFT instrument console, and dedicated TVS iQube app, which offers features like geo-fencing, remote battery charge status, navigation assist, last parked location, and incoming call and text message alerts. The iQube also gets innovative features like Q-park assist, day and night display, regenerative braking and LED headlights and taillights. The TVS iQube can be booked online, through the website, or at select dealerships with a booking amount of Rs. 5,000.
