Kia India Launches A Live Interaction App Called 'Kia Digi-Connect'

- Kia India has launched a new live interaction platform for its customers.
- Customers can also do the video conference connecting family and friends.
- Kia is also providing a virtual 360-degree view of the dealership.
Digitalisation has picked up the pace significantly in the last few years and has become the need of the hour during the pandemic as most of us have resorted to online buying during the lockdown period or even beyond in a bid to avoid physical interaction. Since last year, we have been observing a paradigm shift towards digitalisation even in the auto market and automakers incorporating even the buying procedures on their digital platforms. Kia India too has been functional digitally, but now has taken a step ahead with the launch of its 'Kia Digi-Connect' app. The Korean carmaker claims that this is an industry-first video-based live sales consultation solution which is offered through website scheduling and integration with company's CRM system.

You can also configure models online.
The application will enable customers to connect with their nearest dealerships and get complete assistance using a video conference platform. The interaction will happen in a similar manner as how executives interact with customers at dealerships when they sit face-to-face. The initiative is aimed at offering a contact-less and hassle-free car buying experience at the comfort of our homes.
Speaking about the launch of the application, Tae-Jin Park, Executive Director and Chief Sales & Business Strategy Officer, Kia India said, "The Kia Digi-Connect initiative signifies Kia India's bold and innovative approach towards offering a matchless premium customer experience, aligned with our new brand purpose - 'Movement that inspires'. With this industry-first initiative, we have taken a step forward in transforming the purchase journey of our customers to a seamless, digital one. Technology-led digital transformation has been the primary approach for Kia India right at the outset and we are committed to spearheading the digital revolution in the Indian automotive industry going forward. We are confident that such digital innovations will offer great customer delight at every step of their car buying journey and make Kia India an aspirational and lovable brand in the country."

You can also accessorise your car online.
To experience the digital buying solution, customers can go to the website and opt for video consultation through Kia Digi-Connect where they can have a complete walk-through of Kia cars with the help of the Kia Experience Consultant at the showroom. The Kia Digi-Connect solution will also provide customers several additional options of 360-degree virtual experience through video call, screen & video sharing along with sharing of brochures and price list among others through digital medium during the video conference. Additionally, the app allows customers to include multiple family members and friends on the same call from different geographic locations so that they can collectively understand and discuss with dealership representatives, similar to a showroom visit experience. Kia has pioneered an omni-channel "Phygital" process with end-to-end digitisation of its sales management by aligning with its dealer partners.
