Tata Motors, the country's largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, today introduced a range of 21 new CV products and variants in India, on a single day. The newly introduced products cover all the commercial vehicle segments, right from four-wheeler light commercial vehicles to the larger 15-tonne Tractor-Trailer and Rigid trucks. The line-up includes - 7 Medium and Heavy Commercial vehicles, across Construck, Tractor-Trailer and Rigid truck range, and 5 Intermediate & Light Commercial Vehicles, between 4-18 tonne GVW. Additionally, the company has also introduced 4 small commercial vehicles for last-mile delivery, and 5 new buses, including a new electric bus.

Every aspect of these vehicles has been purposefully augmented to cater to both varied duty cycles as well as special applications. Incorporating the latest advances in technology, refined powertrains and upgrades in comfort and convenience, our vehicles are ideal to fulfil the customer need of high vehicle utilisation for more revenue with lower costs for more profits."

In the I&LCV space, the company is offering 5 products, ranging from 4-tonne to 18-tonne Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW)

The 7 new models introduced in the M&HCV space include - Signa 5530.S for heavy-duty applications, Signa 4623.S which gets a powerful 5.6-litre Cummins engine, Signa 4625.S ESC with industry-first ESC system, and Signa 4221.T with a fuel-efficient 5-litre Turbotronn engine. The list also includes the Signa 4021.S tractor-trailer, Signa 3118.T, which is also India's first 10-wheeler 31T Truck with 12.5T Lift axle, and the Prima 2830.K RMC with Rear Engine Power Take-Off (REPTO). The company says these trucks have been introduced specifically to cater to the development of infrastructure in India.

In the I&LCV space, the company is offering 5 products, ranging from 4-tonne to 18-tonne Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). These include - the Ultra T.18 SL which comes with a best-in-class payload of 11.5-tonne, the recently launched 407G CNG pick-up truck, new 709G CNG, which offers the largest loading area in its segment, and the LPT 510, which comes with a 10-feet load body and a short wheelbase. The company has also introduced the new Ultra T.6, which the company says will offer a faster turnaround and ease of driving. Tata Motor has also introduced, SCVs for last-mile delivery, which includes the new Winger Cargo, designed for the e-commerce distribution segment and the new Intra V30 High deck variant. The company has also introduced two new variants of the Ace mini-truck - Ace Petrol CX and the Ace Gold Diesel+, which claims to offer more mileage.

For the passenger carrier segment, Tata Motors has introduced 5 new buses, including a new electric bus - Starbus 4/12 LE, introduced for urban mass mobility. The other four models include - the Winger 15S, a 15-seater van, Starbus 2200 for school and staff transportation, and Cityride Prime LPO 1315 bus. Tata has also introduced the new Magna coach, a 13.5m bus for inter-city travel.
