In the background, there is a lot of work going on and the company is all set to expand their dealership network in the country. Till March 2015, Tata Motors had 460 dealerships to its name and in an ambitious plan, the company will open 200 more by the end of this financial year.

Come August, the company has a strategy to open one outlet a day to and that is a big ask. But the strategy is to reach to places that the company has low or no presence. The move will see them trying to enter the 3854 tahsils and over six and a half lakh villages in India.
