Tata Power Installs EZ Charge EV Chargers At The Buddh International Circuit For 2022 carandbike Awa

The 2022 carandbike Awards saw the best cars and two-wheelers being crowned winners in their respective categories. From high-octane cars and superbikes to the fun mass-market offerings, the line-up was expansive. This year saw a striking number of electric cars as part of our jury meet. It was also for the first time that carandbike introduced its Best EV of the Year category saw contenders like the Porsche Taycan, Jaguar I-Pace, Audi e-tron GT, Audi e-tron SUV, BYD e6, and the Tata Tigor EV. And ensuring they were charged and ready to hit the track at all times was our partner Tata Power.

Tata Power in association with carandbike installed two electric vehicle charging stations at the Buddh International Circuit for the 2022 carandbike Awards jury meet. The 50 kW DC charger and the AC charger were installed in the paddock area with a dedicated parking space, marked in green.

Speaking on the association with carandbike, Tata Power said, "Tata Power EZ Charge is delighted to be associated with the Carandbike Awards 2022, especially in the first year of introduction of the best EV of the year category! The electric vehicles certainly dominated the day leaving the jury members electrified with their performance at the BIC. The Audi e-tron GT turned out to be a favourite among the jury with the car winning the first-ever CNB EV of the Year award. It was a double win for Audi India, however, with the Audi RS e-tron GT also taking home the 2022 CNB Sportscar of the Year award. The latter turned out to be an even bigger win considering the electric sportscar was competing with the Ferrari Roma, Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder, Lamborghini Huracan STO and the Porsche Taycan in the segment. Meanwhile, the Tata Tigor EV won the Viewers' Choice EV of the Year at the 2022 carandbike Awards.
