Toyota Kirloskar Motor Rejigs Management Structure

- Toyota Kirloskar Motor has made major changes in its management structure
- It says that the move will drive synergy and efficiency in the company.
- Current Executive VP, Mahesh N Salkar will retire on December 31, 2021.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has rejigged its management structure making some key organisational changes in its top-level management. To begin with, the carmaker has appointed Raju B. Ketkale as Executive Vice President, Manufacturing, while Yoshinori Noritake has been appointed as Executive Vice President & Chief Technical Officer (CTO). In the sales & marketing department, Tadashi Asazuma has been assigned the role of Executive Vice President, Sales & Customer Services. Swapnesh R. Maru is the new Executive Vice President, Finance & Administration while Vikram Gulati has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Governance. Finally Sudeep S. Dalvi has been appointed as Senior Vice President & Chief Communication Officer. All newly appointed officials will take charge of their respective responsibilities from January 01, 2022.

Mahesh N Salkar who is the current Executive Vice President of the company will be retiring on December 31, 2021 after a 23 years long stint in the company. He joined TKM on September 21,1998. Since 2015, he has been on an assignment at a senior role in Toyota Motor Asia Pacific, Singapore and Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing, Thailand. Assigning new roles to the officials, the company has said that key resources have been aligned and assigned responsibilities in a way to drive synergy and efficiency throughout the organization.
