TVS Annual Two-Wheeler Exports Cross 1 Million Mark For First Time

- TVS has despatched 10 lakh units in one financial year for the first time
- TVS Motor Company is India's second largest two-wheeler exporter
- TVS has a collaboration with BMW Motorrad to jointly develop products
TVS Motor Company, one of India's leading two-wheeler manufacturers, has announced its annual two-wheeler export volumes of over 1 million (10 lakh) units in FY 2021-22. TVS is India's second largest exporter of two-wheelers and the company has achieved the 10 lakh export milestone in a financial year for the first time. According to a statement from the company, TVS Motor Company's key exports include the TVS Apache series, TVS HLX series, TVS Raider, and TVS Neo series. The company says an increase in global motorcycle sales has significantly contributed to this achievement.

The TVS Apache series has been doing quite well in overseas markets, and has carved out a niche for itself.
Speaking about the milestone, Sudarshan Venu, Joint Managing Director, TVS Motor Company, said, "The one million export mark is a significant milestone for TVS Motor Company. TVS Motor Company has a presence across 80 countries in Africa, Southeast Asia, the Indian Sub-Continent, Central and Latin America and is seeking to enter more markets in Europe and North America. TVS currently has a collaboration with BMW Motorrad under which TVS manufactures the small displacement BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS models in India. Under the common platform, TVS has its own model, its flagship product, the TVS Apache RR 310. The two companies have announced expanding the partnership to include joint development of EVs.
