Mr. Thakur also posted a video of the SUV at the yard giving his honest opinion about the Mahindra KUV100. In the video he also gives a detailed walkaround of the KUV100 talking about the exterior features, the interiors, equipment and engines.
As for its design and looks, even though Mahindra is marketing it as a sub-compact SUV, one can't deny the fact that KUV100 looks more like a hatchback or a crossover. The KUV100 also shares some a number of design aspects with the Mahindra XUV500 like, especially the chassis, which is also a monocoque design like the one in the latter. Apart from the Mahindra KUV100's styling also seems to have been inspired from the XUV500, which is evidently seen from the beefy front end, muscular bonnet, aggressive character lines and even the chrome accented grille.
