Mahindra KUV100 Waiting Period Goes Up to 3 Months

Mahindra KUV100 was launched only a month ago in India, and is already quite in demand. The sub-compact SUV that bears a price tag ranging between Rs. 4.42 lakh and Rs. 6.76 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune), is currently observing a waiting period of 3 months. Company officials told us that 3 months of production capacity for the Mahindra KUV100 has already been booked.

The Mahindra KUV100 is India's largest utility vehicle maker's third sub-4 metre after besides the Quanto and TUV300. Designed to offer 'peppy low-end performance' both in its diesel and petrol guises, it targets first-time buyers and hence the name - Kool Utility Vehicle (KUV). Interestingly, the 100 signifies its series and position in the carmaker's line-up - below Mahindra TUV300 and XUV500.

In order to lend Mahindra KUV100 an SUV-esque appeal, it gets a unique pair of head-lamps with follow-me-home lamps, LED DRLs, black plastic-cladded front bumper that houses the vertical LED fog lamps, air dam and a large sliver skid plate.

Mahindra KUV100 is offered in a total of four variants, namely, K2, K4, K6 and K8 along with '+' option that offers additional safety equipment and comfort-enhancing features.
