New TVS 125 cc Scooter Launch: What To Expect?

TVS Motor Company is all set to introduce a new scooter in the market on October 7, 2021. The company is expanding its presence in the 125 cc segment and this will be its third model after the NTorq and the recently launched TVS Raider 125. More importantly, the teaser released by the company hints at a new 125 cc scooter, which has us all excited. The new offering is touted to be a rival to the Suzuki Access 125 and is likely to be a family-oriented offering.

The new family scooter could be the much-anticipated TVS Jupiter 125 that has been in the works for a while now. And that will make it a drastically different model over the sportier NTorq 125. Apart from the Access 125, the upcoming model will also take on the Honda Activa 125, Yamaha Fascino, Aprilia SXR 125, Hero Destini 125 and the likes in the segment.

The TVS Jupiter 125 will get an analogue instrument console with a digital readout
The teaser video shares a glimpse of the upcoming offering that gets a wide apron with the indicators integrating the LED daytime running lights. It is also expected to be larger than the 110 cc model in terms of both proportions and the feature list. Another teaser confirms an analogue instrument console on the upcoming TVS offering with a small digital readout that will display instant fuel efficiency and possibly distance to empty information as well. A side-stand cut-off switch is also visible.

Expect sales to begin soon after the launch tomorrow and prices are likely to be under the Rs. 75,000 (ex-showroom) mark, on par with the rivals. TVS will be launching its new offering tomorrow afternoon and we will be bringing you all the updates. So make sure to catch all the action right here.
