Ratan Tata is one of the most influential people in modern India and has always been a favourite of the masses owing to his humble demeanour and his staunch business practices. One would imagine a man of his stature to ride on royal wheels all the time but while that's true sometimes, other times, he can be seen driving around in modest vehicles as well. Here's a look at his preferred cars for his commute over the years.
Buick Skylark

Car aficionados always have a special place in their hearts for muscle cars and the same applies to Ratan Tata who had purchased a 1978 Buick Skylark back in the day. Unfortunately, he sold the old school beast recently for unmentioned reasons.
Mercedes Benz E-Class W124

For the longest of time, Mr. Tata has preferred to travel in his Mercedes Benz E-Class W124, which was the first passenger car officially sold in India by the German car manufacturer.
