Tata Motors Partners With Lithium Urban Technologies For 5000 Xpres T EV Fleet Deployment In India

- Tata Motors will deploy 5000 Xpres T Electric Sedans across the country.
- The fleet will be used for employee transportation.
- Deliveries will happen in phased manner and will be completed by 2023.
Tata Motors has partnered with Lithium Urban Technologies to deploy 5000 Xpres T Electric Sedans across the country for employee transportation. Tata Motors will commence deliveries in phases and will complete the deployment by next year. In July 2021, Tata Motors launched the 'Xpres' brand exclusively for fleet customers and the Xpres-T' EV is the first vehicle under this brand. In fact, this is Tata Motors' one of the largest EV fleet deployments after the announcement of the Xpres EV brand.

Tata Motors launched the 'Xpres' brand exclusively for fleet customers.

The Xpres-T electric sedan comes with two range options - 213 km and 165 km. The 213 km version is equipped with a 21.5 kWh battery pack while the 165 km variant gets a 16.5 kWh battery pack. The EVs can be charged in from 0 - 80 per cent in 110 mins and 90 mins, respectively, using fast charging or can also be normally charged from any 15 A plug point. It comes with zero tail-pipe emission, single speed automatic transmission, dual airbags, ABS with EBD as standard across variants.
