TVS Motor Company has launched the "Kargil edition" of TVS Star City+ commuter motorcycle at a price of Rs. 54,399, ex-showroom, Delhi. TVS says that the rollout of this edition is a tribute to the spirit and attitude of the Indian soldier, which resides in every Indian citizen. The dual-tone colour scheme of white and green along with camouflage graphics is perhaps the first-of-its-kind, seen on a two-wheeler and is definitely unique. There is also a 'Kargil emblem' at the rear of the motorcycle which TVS says, denotes the indomitable spirit of every Indian. If you look closely, the Star City+ , the motorcycle's colour tone is a combination of white (Navy), green (Army) and blue (Air Force).
The updates are only cosmetic and there are no mechanical changes to the motorcycle.
