2021 Tata Safari Bookings Begin This Week; Booking Amount Is Rs. 30,000

- The pre-launch bookings of the 2021 Tata Safari to begin from February 4

Tata Motors recently revealed the all-new Safari flagship SUV for the Indian market, which is expected to go on sale later this month. The home-grown automaker will begin accepting bookings for the all-new Tata Safari from February 4, 2021. Interested customers can pre-book the SUV at authorised dealerships across the country with a token amount of Rs. 30,000. The three-row version of the Harrier SUV will be available in six-seater (captain seats) and seven-seater configurations. The carmaker has already revealed that the SUV will come in six variants - XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, XZ+.

The 2021 Tata Safari SUV is based on the Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced Architecture (OMEGARC) platform. The SUV gets chrome studded tri-arrow front grille, xenon HID projector headlamps, dual function LED DRLs with turn indicators, dual-tone front bumper, 18-inch machined alloy wheels, stepped roof, flared wheel arches, protective side cladding, signature twin light LED taillamps, tall tailgate, roof spoiler, roof-mounted stop lamp, shark fin antenna and more. The SUV comes in three exterior colours - Royale Blue, Orcus White and Daytona Grey.

The overall appeal of the cabin is highlighted by a dual-tone Oyster White colour scheme with Ashwood dashboard. The SUV also gets an 8.8-inch floating infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, three-spoke steering, Tata's IRA connected car technology with voice recognition, premium Benecke Kaliko Oyster White leather seat upholstery, door pad inserts, seven-inch instrument panel, nine-speaker JBL sound system, electric parking brake, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, push-button start, Rain Sensing Wipers, Electrically Adjustable and Foldable Outer Mirrors, 6-way Powered Driver Seat with adjustable lumbar support, and more.

Under the hood, there is a Fiat-sourced Kryotec 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine, which also does duty on the 5-seater Harrier. The motor is tuned to put out 168 bhp and 350 Nm of power figures. It comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox with an optional Hyundai sourced six-speed automatic torque converter automatic gearbox.
