Eijaz Khan is one of the prominent actors in the Indian television and film industry. The actor recently brought home a brand new Mahindra Thar finished in Galaxy Grey shade. He has opted for the hardtop version of the Thar. The actor shared an image of his new possession on social media on Diwali day with a caption dedicated to his grandfather. As per the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways' Vahan portal, Mahindra Thar was registered in October 2021.

The new-gen Mahindra Thar SUV was launched in India last year and has been a runaway success for the automaker. Prices for the SUV starts from Rs. 12.79 lakh, going up to Rs. 15.09 lakh. It has bagged 4-star crash test ratings in Global NCAP. There's also a new 5-door version of the Thar in the making, which will arrive sometime between 2023 and 2026.

The new Thar is offered with a choice of petrol and diesel engines. The former is a 2.0-litre mStallion 150 TGDI petrol engine that makes 150 bhp and 320 Nm while the latter is a 2.2-litre mHawk 130 making 130 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. Both engines have the option of a six-speed automatic gearbox as well and get a robust four-wheel-drive (4WD) system.
