Tata H5 SUV
After introducing back-to-back products in the more affordable segments, Tata Motors now plans to focus synergies in the more premium space. The H5 SUV is a much talked about model and is expected to share its underpinnings with Land Rover SUVs. The model is said to be underpinned by Land Rover Discovery Sport's L550 platform and will be available in both five-seater and seven-seater options. Interestingly, Tata will reportedly source the 2.0-litre MultiJet diesel engine from FCA for the new H5 SUV that also powers the Jeep Compass. The Expo model like to be called the Impact Design 2.0 study, evolving in design from that seen on the Tiago. The X451 will be the first model to use the company's all-new Advanced Modular Platform (AMP), which is expected to underpin a host of models from the automaker in the future. Engine options are likely to remain the the 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel from the Nexon, while the model is likely to go into production sometime next year.
