    Exterior Features

Mahindra says that the design and development of the Marazzo MPV costed the company around $200 million, and is a complex combination between Mahindra Automotive North America (MANA), Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) and Mahindra-owned Italian design firm Pininfarina. So it was obvious that the Marazzo was destined to have the largest footprint seen on any Mahindra model yet. The dimensions speak for itself as the large body is highlighted with bold exterior features and aggressive styling. The styling, said to be inspired by the shark, hits you instantly with the aggressive and butch look. In the front, the Marazzo comes with the stylish new chrome-toothed grille along with bold double barrel headlamps that get the pilot lights. Moreover the foglamps are eye-shaped with integrated LED daytime running lamps. You also get 17-inch alloy wheels with large ORVMs and shark-tail-inspired tail lamps. It comes connected by a thick chrome slat.

    Competition

According to the company, the new Marazzo does have a direct rival, but considering its an MPV, it pits against the likes of Innova Crysta from Toyota, Hexa from Tata Motors, Ertiga from Maruti Suzuki and Lodgy from Renault. While the Ertiga is the least expensive in the category, the Marazzo undercuts the Hexa and even the Innova Crysta in the segment, and also the fact that it comes in both 7-seat layout and a 8-seater layout. Mahindra has directly taken on the market of the Innova with the pricing, and also the space that it offers on the inside is much more than the others in the segment.
