Tata Tiago Rear
Featuring design inputs from Tata Motors' Pune, UK, and Italy design studios, the Tiago gets the new signature honeycomb grille flanked by the new head-lamps, fog-lamps with chrome bezels, sporty alloy wheels, etc.. Inside, it gets geometric texture accented with chrome handles, knitted fabrics, dual tone interior, gloss black inserts, a multi-function steering wheel, and customisable air vents among other provisions. The Tiago also comes with segment-first applications like the Turn-by-Turn Navi app and the Juke-Car app.
Tata Tiago in Nepal will come powered by the indigenously developed Revotron 1.2L petrol engine that puts out 84bhp of power and a maximum torque of 139Nm. It offers an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 23.84Km/l. Available in 3 variants - XE, XM, & XZ and with six colour options - Striker Blue, Berry Red, Sunburst Orange, Espresso Brown, Pearlescent White and Platinum Silver, the hatchback will come with a warranty of 4 years/75,000Km (whichever is earlier).
Tata Motors intends to leave no stone unturned as far as the Tiago is concerned; case in point, the centre console in the car's base variant will sport a piano-black finish so as to allow it to look premium. Mr Bose said, "These particular parts have been designed to be switchable, as buyers are increasingly looking at personalizing their vehicles."
