TVS iQube Electric Scooter Launched In New Delhi; Priced At Rs. 1.08 Lakh

- TVS iQube priced at Rs. 1.08 (on-road) after FAME and state subsidies

TVS Motor Company has launched the TVS iQube electric scooter in New Delhi. Available in select dealerships across Delhi, the TVS iQube electric scooter is now available at an on-road price of Rs. 1,08,012 (after FAME II and Delhi state subsidy). This makes the TVS iQube Electric Scooter the first premium electric scooter to be launched in Delhi, compared to its immediate rivals, Bajaj Chetak and Ather 450 X. The iQube electric scooter was launched in Delhi, following the Delhi government's announcement of the new electric vehicle (EV) policy called "Switch Delhi."

Riding dynamics are well-sorted, and the TVS iQube offers a stable riding experience
The TVS iQube was launched in January 2020 in Bengaluru. The electric scooter is equipped with a 4.4 kW (6 bhp) electric motor with peak torque output of 140 Nm. Top speed is around 78 kmph, in Sport mode. The battery can be charged to 100 per cent capacity in around 5 hours, and maximum range is claimed at 75 km on a single charge in Eco mode; in Sport mode, range is claimed at 55 km.

Features include riding modes, geo-fencing and several safety features, including a park-assist function
The TVS iQube electric scooter also gets the next-generation TVS SmartXonnect platform with Bluetooth connectivity, advanced TFT instrument console, and dedicated TVS iQube app, which offers features like geo-fencing, remote battery charge status, navigation assist, last parked location, and incoming call and text message alerts. The iQube also gets innovative features like Q-park assist, day and night display, regenerative braking and LED headlights and taillights. The TVS iQube can be booked online, through the website, or at select dealerships with a booking amount of Rs. 5,000.

The iQube has been designed and developed in-house by TVS. Only the lithium-ion cells are sourced from Korea
TVS Motor Company is providing iQube customers with a comprehensive charging support, ranging across multiple charging options. Customers can avail of SmartXHome, which offers a dedicated home charging solution with Bluetooth connectivity, live charging status and radio frequency identification (RFID) enabled security. Currently there are charging locations installed across seven locations in Delhi. The company is also looking at developing an expansive public charging ecosystem in the city, by expanding the charging network with additional dealers partners.
