2014 Mahindra Scorpio Facelift Launched at Rs. 7.98 Lakh

Mahindra today launched the all-new Scorpio for Rs. 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Though the company kept bringing out mild updates through the SUV's lifespan - in 2006 the Scorpio received some major upgrades and a new engine, followed by a facelift in 2008. That said, this is the most important (and also the biggest) product overhaul that the Scorpio has received and is all about an all-new platform. In terms of design, the new Scorpio gets a new face, including the front grille and rear door that are inspired by the XUV500.

Here's a summary of what has changed in the 2014 Mahindra Scorpio:
a. Exterior: In the front, the SUV sports a new set of projector headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights, new bumper, and a new radiator grille. It also gets an integrated 2-DIN music system, remote central locking, sliding seats for the middle row, rear wiper and defogger, though its availability depends on the variant.
