The company's celebrations have been in tune with the United Nation's theme "Go Wild for Life'.

As part of contributing towards a greener environment, Honda claims to have taken a holistic approach towards environment preservation and uses concepts like Green Factory, Green Dealer and Green Suppliers. The Japanese auto giant has also been involved in several engagement activities including tree plantation and sapling distribution at schools, dealerships and production plants.
Honda also organized free PUC check-up and jute bag distribution, while awareness messages were spread through sticker on invoices and employee uniforms across dealerships. Within the company, the bike maker conducted employee engagement programs including in-house training, Slogan and Poster making competition, environmental awareness training and quiz as well as skit play, among others.
Furthermore, Honda will be doing awareness cleanup campaigns and rallies in a bid to promote a cleaner environment as part of the World Environment Week. The automaker has been proactive with its business plan in the country and has been aggressive with the launch of commuter motorcycles. The bike maker is also the leader in scooter segment with the ever popular Activa bringing in the bulk of sales. For the 2016 calendar year, Honda has a host of products lined up for launch, which include new and updated models and will help the company improve its market share in the country.
