Tata Curvv EV, Nexon EV 45 Get Lifetime Battery Warranty

- Lifetime battery warranty extended to Curvv EV, Nexon EV 45
- Nexon EV MR (30kWh) not covered
- Offering additional Rs 50,000 benefits to existing Tata EV customers to buy the Nexon EV, Curvv EV
Having introduced a lifetime battery warranty with the Harrier EV, Tata Motors has now extended the benefit to the Curvv EV coupe-SUV and the Nexon EV 45. Tata says the lifetime battery warranty will extend to both new buyers and existing owners, but will only be applicable to privately registered vehicles. The Nexon EV MR with the 30-kWh battery is not covered by the lifetime warranty.

Do note that the lifetime warranty on the battery pack extends to 15 years – the lifetime of a registered vehicle.

Additionally, Tata Motors has said that it is also extending benefits of up to Rs 50,000 to existing Tata EV owners looking to buy the Nexon EV and Curvv EV. Tata is currently offering benefits of up to Rs 1.71 lakh and Rs 1.41 lakh respectively for the Curvv EV and Nexon EV in the market with unsold 2024 model year units.
