Tata Nexon Aero Edition Features And Prices Revealed

It was at the recent Auto Expo 2018 where Tata Motors pulled the wraps off the new Nexon Aero edition. The new special edition Tata Nexon Aero comes with different body kits, offering a range of design and styling elements along with a host interior trim option as well. While the company hasn't officially launched the new Nexon Aero edition yet, brochure images of the Aero kit with detailed features and prices have surfaced online giving us a clear picture of what to expect. Tata will be offering 3 levels of Aero Kit, with the price of the base Level 1 kit starting Rs. 30,610, going up to Rs. 61,574 for the range-topping Level 3 kit.

Save for the base Level 1 Aero kit, both the Level 2 and Level 3 versions are further divided into two options packs. All the changes are superficial and there are no mechanical updated involved whatsoever. Interestingly, Tata Motors is offering the Aero Kit across the Nexon trim levels and is not just limited to the top-of-the-line XZ variant. The top cosmetic additions include - red exterior accent, wheel accent, new seat covers, illuminated scuff plates and more.

Here Are The Level-Wise Features Offered With The New Tata Nexon Aero

Aero Kit Level 1:

The Level 1 Aero Kit for the Tata Nexon comes with some basic cosmetic features like - Aero body kit, Aero badging on the exterior, and foglamp garnish. These features are available with all the variants - XE, XM, XT, XZ and XZ+.

Kit Price: Rs. 30,610

Tata Nexon Aero Kit Level 1 and Level 2 Options

Aero Kit Level 2

In the Level 2 Aero Kit, the first option package, in addition to the features offered with Level 1 package, comes with a bunch of additional equipment like Aero branded seat covers, Aero branded carpets, illuminated scuff plates, and a red outside rear-view mirror (ORVM) cover. The more expensive Option 2 package comes with red Rimbands in addition to the features offered with the option 1 kit. While Option 1 is available for XE, XM, and XT variants, the Option 2 is available for only the top-end XZ and XZ+ variants.

Kit Price: Option 1 - Rs. 40,824 / Option 2 - Rs. 46,856

Tata Nexon Aero Kit Level 3 Options

Like the Level 2 kit, this one also comes in two versions - Option 1 and Option 2, while the former is available for XE, XM, and XT variants, the Option 2 is offered only with the top-end XZ and XZ+ variants. The features list is carried over from Level 1 and Level 2 kits and in addition to that, the Level 3 Kit comes with Glossy Black Roof Wrap and red accent paint on for the alloy wheels.

Kit Price: Option 1 - Rs. 55,625 / Option 2 - Rs. 61,574

Based on the pricing and features on these leaked brochures, we have to say all three levels of the Aero Kits are quite expensive and additional, customers will be charged an additonal Rs. 7,000 + taxes for labour and installation. All this will surely add a considerable premium to the sticker price of the Tata Nexon, depending on the variant you choose. However, we will wait for an official announcement from the company, regarding the pricing of the new Tata Nexon Aero.
