TVS Motor Company has launched the Jupiter MillionR Special Edition scooter in India, priced at Rs. 53,034 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new special edition has been launched to celebrate the sale of one million Jupiter scooters sold in the country, a milestone the company has managed to achieve in just 30 months. The popular scooter has received 10 additional features as a tribute to the 10 lakh customers as part of the special edition.
At the outset, the TVS Jupiter MillionR Special Edition gets a new royal wine colour with beige inner panels and dual-tone finished seat. More importantly, the Jupiter special edition comes equipped with a front disc brake and also sports the 'MillionR' badge on the front panel. Other upgrades include chrome finished rearview mirrors, beige floor mat and the MillionR key ring. There is also a provision for a mobile charger installation.
Commenting on the TVS Jupiter MillionR edition, Aniruddha Haldar, Vice President - Marketing, TVS said, "We are deeply humbled and grateful for the outstanding response and love that TVS Jupiter has garnered in such a short time. 10 lakh families have reposed faith in Jupiter and its promise of Zyada ka Fayda. Talking about technical specifications, the TVS Jupiter MillionR edition gets no changes and continues to draw power from the 109.7 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 8bhp of power at 7500 rpm and peak torque of 8Nm at 5500 rpm. The motor is paired to an automatic transmission. The Jupiter has been one of the fastest growing scooter brands in the country and ranks among the top three best-selling scooters in terms of sales. The MillionR editions brings some significant updates to the scooter and is priced at a Rs. 3000 premium over the standard ZX variant.
