TVS Racing Announces Long-Team Association With GP3 Driver Arjun Maini

- TVS Racing has signed up Arjun Maini for a long term association
- Arjun secured a podium finish in his second ever GP3 race at Budapest
- Arjun is the only Indian driver to secure a podium in the GP3 Series
Commenting on the association Arjun Maini said, "I am happy and delighted to partner with TVS Motor Company. This association reflects the growing attention that motorsports is receiving in India. I have had a good start to the GP3 season and the support from TVS will encourage me to do better. TVS Racing, with its rich racing heritage, has been working towards cultivating interest and enthusiasm for motorsports in the country. TVS Racing has been a pioneer and the first factory racing team in India. I look forward to exciting times ahead."

Speaking on the collaboration, Aniruddha Haldar, Vice President (Marketing), TVS Motor Company said. "We are supporting Arjun, who we believe will be a star an international motorsports. GP3 is the beginning and we are happy to be associated with him for the long haul. We expect to leverage this association across the TVS Motors footprint in over 50 countries."

Arjun started his racing career in 2006 winning karting championships
TVS Motor has been active in motorsport for over two decades now and also owns a two-wheeler factory racing team. The company has already been active in two-wheeler racing on-track as well as off it, and also holds the credit for becoming the Indian manufacturer to represent India in the gruelling Dakar rally. in association with Sherco rally team. The bike maker officially announced Aravind KP as part of the Sherco-TVS Rally Factory Team at Dakar 2017.
