- The MG ZS EV facelift will be launched in India soon
- The updated ZS EV gets several cosmetic changes and new features
- The technical specifications are likely to remain unchanged
The MG ZS EV is set to receive a proper mid-life facelift in India soon, and ahead of its launch, the company has officially released photos of the upcoming electric SUV. Now, MG hasn't announced the launch date for the updated ZS EV yet, however, we expect it to be launched later this month or early March 2022. The SUV has received some major cosmetic updates while borrowing some elements from its Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) counterpart, the MG Astor, which was launched a few months ago.

The MG ZS EV facelift gets a heavily refreshed front end, which now comes with a covered grille, similar to what we have seen on conventional EVs
In line with the company global design style, the updated MG ZS EV now visually looks a lot more like an electric vehicle (EV) compared to the existing model. This includes a heavily refreshed front end, which now comes with a covered grille, similar to what we have seen on conventional EVs. Also, the charging socket on the current model is housed behind the MG logo on the grille, but on the facelifted version it has been moved to the left of the MG logo. The front bumper too has been updated and gets a sharper design with a wider central airdam and vertical intakes at both ends.

In terms of features, the ZS EV will come with LED headlamps, LED daytime running light, and a set of new 17-inch alloy wheels. While we can't see the rear section in these images, MG says that the SUV will also get pair of redesigned LED taillamps, and new rear bumpers as well.

The carmaker has not revealed the cabin, we expect the ZS EV facelift to come with a refreshed interior as well. It's possible that the cabin could borrow its styling cues and feature from the MG Astor. MG has already said that the updated model will come with a sunroof, however, we also see a front camera on the grille which means the ZS EV will now also get a 360-degree view camera, and possibly even Advanced Driver Assistant Systems (ADAS). More details are likely to be revealed closer to the launch.
