2017 TVS Jupiter Spied In Dealerships

- The 2017 Jupiter gets 2 new colour options
- It now gets front disc brake as an option on the standard variant as well
- Mechanically, the scooter remains the same
TVS is all set to launch the 2017 model of its popular scooter, Jupiter with a BS IV engine and the auto headlamp on (AHO) function. TVS will also introduce two new colours of Royal Wine and Green. Apart from these updates, the Jupiter will now get a disc brake up front as an option in the standard variant as well. Earlier, the disc brake was a standard fitment only on the Jupiter MillionR edition. On the lines of Honda's combi-braking system, TVS will offer sync braking system (SBS) on the 2017 Jupiter.
(The 2017 TVS Jupiter BS IV gets front disc brake as an option)The Jupiter gets a 109cc engine that makes almost 8 bhp and 8 Nm of torque. The prices for the current model start at Rs. 49,034 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2017 model should be marginally expensive than the current model. The 2017 Jupiter should go on sale in the next few weeks.

The new model now gets a USB port for charging mobile phones as well.
Also, the company wants to get into the 125cc scooter space and is planning to launch a 125cc scooter soon. A 125cc Jupiter maybe? The details are still unclear but do keep watching this space for updates.
