2021 MG ZS EV India Launch Highlights: Price, Features, Specifications, Images

Morris Garages India has launched the 2021 model year ZS EV electric SUV today, and we have all the highlights from the launch event here. The 2021 MG ZS EV comes with a few revisions, which includes an updated 44.5 kWh HT (Hi-Tech) battery, new tyres which promise better durability, and in creased ground clearance of 177 mm. MG Motor India has also added a new feature to the iSamart mobile app that gives real-time information on CO2 savings done by the customer due to the ZS EV.

There aren't any cosmetic updates made to the 2021 MG ZS EV, however, MG Motor India has updated the battery setup to offer an improved range, which can go up to 419 km. Earlier, the ZS EV offered a maximum range of around 340 km when fully charged. The company says that depending on the driving conditions, customers can get a range of anywhere between 300 to 400 km on a single charge. The 44.5 kWh battery is a IP6 certified unit that powers a synchronous motor which develops 141 bhp of maximum power against the peak torque of 353 Nm. As for performance, it can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 8.5 seconds thanks to power electronic (PE) solutions from UAES.

The MG ZS EV is offered in two variants - Exclusive and Excite, and while the former is priced at Rs. 20.99 lakh, the top-end trim comes at Rs. 24.18 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi).
