The 2022 TVS iQube retains the same styling but gets new gloss and matte colour options
Manu Saxena, Senior Vice President - Future Mobility, TVS Motor Company, said, "The new TVS iQube series packs a higher range plus multiple charging options and comes with class-leading display and UI options. Additionally, it is loaded with the new age connected features, applications and connected on-device experience. We have developed the new TVS iQube through our extensive R&D and validation process, to further strengthen TVS Motor's quality promise."
Compared to the older 2.25 kWh lithium-ion battery, the 2022 TVS iQube range now comes with two, more powerful battery options. The standard iQube and iQube S feature a 3.4 kWh battery pack, which offers a claimed real-world range of 100 km, whereas the iQube ST gets a bigger 5.1 kWh battery pack and delivers a best-in-class 140 km on a single charge. The battery packs are IP67 certified for dust and water resistance, and they come with an indigenous Battery Management System (BMS) and thermal management system.

The range has improved considerably up to 100 km on the standard variants and 140 km on the iQube ST variant
All three variants are equipped with a hub-mounted BLDC (Brushless DC) electric motor that generates a peak output of 4.4 kW or 6 bhp and 140 Nm of torque. The top speed on the iQube and iQube S is said to be 78 kmph, which goes up to 82 kmph on the iQube ST. The updated iQube has been designed to get into idle mode every second minute when it is not running, providing an additional level of safety.
In addition to the two battery packs, the iQube is now also available with three charging options - a 650-watt unit, a 950-watt unit, and a 1.5 kW charger. Both the standard iQube and iQube S are offered with the 650-watt charger as standard, which offers a 0-80 per cent charge in 4.5 hours. At the same time, the top-end iQube ST will be offered with the option of either the 950-watt charger or the more powerful 1.5 kW unit. While the former will offer a 0-80 per cent charge in just a litter over 4 hours, the 1.5 kW charger can do the same in 2.5 hours. The model comes with a shockproof AC plug, spike arrester, and auto shut down.

The 2022 TVS iQube gets a revamped digital instrument cluster with customisable themes as well as an updated suit of connected tech
Visually, the iQube gets some minor styling tweaks and a total of 11 colour options between the three trims. TVS says it has optimised the riding posture for enhanced comfort, while under-seat storage capacity has also improved. While the iQube and iQube S offer decent under-seat storage of 17-litre each, the iQube ST gets a massive 31-litre storage capacity, and all three come with a USB charging port as well.
In terms of features, the iQube gets a 5-inch TFT screen with turn-by-turn navigation, while the iQube S gets a bigger 7-inch TFT screen with an intuitive 5-way joystick for interaction, and music control, theme personalisation, proactive notifications including vehicle health. As for the iQube ST, it too gets a 7-inch unit with similar features, with the addition of touch controls, 4G telematics and OTA updates along with infinite theme personalisation, voice assist and TVS iQube Alexa skillset. TVS is also offering an updated version of its connected technology - SmartXonnect, which now offers an improved navigation system, telematics unit, anti-theft and geofencing features.
Bookings and delivery for the iQube and iQube S have commenced across the 33 cities where the scooter is currently on sale, and TVS says it will expand to 52 more cities soon.
