We have already driven the Tata Nexon and in our first drive review, we told you how impressed with were as regards this product. The Nexon has truly impressed us and courtesy of the popular Impact design philosophy, the SUV comes with a bold design, premium styling and a host of smart features. Unlike the conventional SUVs, the Nexon comes with curvy proportions with a raked rear enhancing the sporty character of the SUV. Projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, faux skid plates, roof rails and LED taillamps are some of the mentionable exterior offerings of the Tata Nexon.

Under the hood, Tata Nexon features a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged Revotron petrol motor, and a newly-developed 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, joining the Revotorq family. The petrol unit is, in fact, a turbocharged version of the one found on the Tiago and Tigor, and is tuned to belt out 108 bhp at 5000 rpm and 170 Nm of peak torque. The diesel is the new 1.5-litre diesel motor which churns out 108 bhp and develops 260 Nm of torque. Initially, the car will come with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, but we expect the Nexon to come with an AMT as well by the end of the current fiscal.
