MG Motor Helps Devnandan Gases To Increase Oxygen Production By 30.1%

The second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic has been debilitating to say the least and with the demand increasing for medical oxygen, MG Motor India stepped up and collaborated with Vadodara-based Devnandan Gases, to increase the production of medical oxygen. The two companies targeted an increase of 25 per cent within two weeks and now MG reports that they have been able to increase production by 30.1 per cent in less than a month of collaboration. Within two weeks, the collaboration was able to increase oxygen production by 15.2 per cent.

It will address specific areas of the manufacturing process such as infrastructure expansion and the elimination of major losses with lean principles. The aim is to increase the production capacity to 50 per cent in the near future. Devnandan Gases Pvt Ltd. is one of the key medical oxygen gas producers of Vadodara. MG Motor India says it is focused on assisting the overall oxygen gas production.

(MG Motor India conducted free COVID-19 vaccination drive for its employees)
Earlier, the company donated 200 beds via Credihealth to patients suffering from COVID-19. Credihealth is an online healthcare platform that helps people search for doctors and hospitals across India. Credihealth recently launched a COVID helpline for asymptomatic and patients suffering from mild COVID-19. MG Motor also promised to deliver 100 Hectors retrofitted as ambulances in Nagpur and Vidarbha, Maharashtra in the wake of increasing COVID-19 cases.

MG Motor India is also extending free service, warranty and extended warranty to customers. The extension would be applicable across range on free service and warranty period expiring between April 2021 and May 2021. These services will be extended up to July 31, 2021, for the time being.
