Mahindra has been teasing its upcoming SUV for the last couple of weeks, as it inches closer to launch. The SUV has generous amounts of chrome inserts all over the body.
While the teaser video showcased the new Scorpio wearing the company's brand new logo which made its debut on the XUV700, the latest spy shots show the car with the older logo, indicating that this could indeed be a pre-production model and not the finished product. As seen in the teaser video, the car features LED twin-pod projector headlamps, LED fog lights, and a signature Mahindra front grille with vertical chrome inserts. There's generous amount of chrome used along the sides of the SUV too, with the door handles bearing chrome inserts and the door cladding having chrome too. The SUV also features 10-spoke Alloy wheels, and disc-brakes on all 4 corners.

It will arrive with 2 engine options, a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine that will develop 150 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque, and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine which will produce 130 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque.
