Audi, Amazon and DHL Will Now Deliver Packages Straight to Your Car

Highlights
This logistics fairytale is called Audi Connect Easy Delivery and is a partnership between the German carmaker, DHL Parcel and Amazon. The program, though currently in trial phase, will be launched in May in Munich, Germany; it will allow some Audi owners to request delivery of their Amazon Prime packages directly to their cars' boot.
However, the owners will have to agree to allow their car to be tracked during the delivery time frame. Once that is done the DHL delivery guy handling the concerned package will receive a digital access code that will give him/her access to the car's trunk.
The single-use code will be valid only for a specific period and will expire as soon as the luggage compartment has been closed again.
The company plans to expand this programme in the future, and will also allow users to have letters and parcels picked up from their own cars.
