Husqvarna will be debuting two new street bikes at the upcoming EICMA motorcycle show. One of those bikes will be the Husqvarna 401 Vitpilen, a neo-retro motorcycle built on the KTM 390 Duke.

Since KTM acquired Husqvarna, most of the product development at Husqvarna has been focussed on using KTM powerplants and cycle parts to re-brand these products. That is not necessarily a bad thing, since KTM is easily identified with high-performance machines.
The 401 Vitpilen will share the trellis frame and engine of the KTM 390 Duke. But that is where the similarities end. The overall design is clean and minimal, and seems to be a modern, futuristic take on a café racer. The bike has some modern touches, like the unique LED headlight dominating the front.
The Husqvarna 401 Vitpilen concept was unveiled at the 2014 EICMA show, and going by the teaser, it seems the production bike hasn't changed much from the concept.
