Triumph Tiger GT Spied

Highlights
It seems that the guys at Triumph's headquarter in Hinckley are leaving no stone unturned to turn around the fortunes of the British motorcycle manufacturer. After introducing the new Bonneville range, Triumph soon updated the 1200cc Tiger Explorer and Speed Triple. The latest bike to roll out from Triumph's stable will be the Tiger GT.

The Triumph Tiger GT was spied being tested around the British motorcycle manufacturer's headquarter in Hinckley. To put things in perspective, this will be a motorcycle which is expected to use the inline three-cylinder, 1050cc engine of the Speed Triple. This makes the Tiger GT sit a little above the Tiger 800, and below the 1200cc Explorer series. The spied bike has an adjustable screen and panniers which give the bike a more purposeful look.
The power of the Tiger GT is expected to be a little lesser than the Speed Triple's 140bhp, and surely more than the existing Tiger Sport's 125bhp. The Triumph Tiger GT is also expected to have features like traction control and ABS as standard.
The picture also shows a redesigned exhaust and a catalytic converter which has been repositioned for some reason. The bike will not only have the new engine of the Speed Triple, but will also have some of its features like ride-by-wire throttle, riding modes, traction control and the improved fuel efficiency.
