Ather Rizta S With 3.7 kWh Battery Pack Launched At Rs 1.37 Lakh

Ather Energy has expanded its Rizta lineup by introducing a new variant to the S trim, which packs a larger 3.7 kWh battery pack. Priced at Rs 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Rizta S is now available with all three battery options: 2.7 kWh, 2.9 kWh, and the newly added 3.7 kWh, which has a claimed range of 159 km. Previously, the 3.7 kWh battery pack was limited to the top-spec Z variant of the electric scooter.

In June 2025, Ather Energy announced that the Rizta had crossed the milestone of one lakh units sold within a year of its launch in April 2025. The achievement is largely attributed to the response from family scooter buyers. Ather Energy also reports that the Rizta has contributed to over 60 per cent of its total sales.

Some of the highlights of the Rizta S include a 7.0-inch non-touch digital display. It rides on a telescopic front fork, a 12-inch alloy front wheel, and includes a front disc brake. The underseat storage capacity stands at 34 litres, while it can also be optioned with a 22-litre frunk.

The 3.7 kWh battery pack has a claimed IDC range of 159 km on a single charge. Powering the Rizta is a mid-drive motor that delivers 5.76 bhp and 22 Nm of peak torque. Ather claims it accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in 4.7 seconds, with a top speed of 80 kmph. 

Bookings for the new 3.7 kWh Rizta S variant are now open at all Ather showrooms and online, with deliveries set to begin later this month.
