Honda Two Wheelers in particular has had one of its best ever months as far as sales are concerned. Here is a manufacturer-wise breakdown for the sales figures of August 2016.

What a month it has been for Honda! The Japanese kingpin of two-wheeler segment in India registered the highest ever monthly sales, the highest ever domestic sales and the highest ever exports! Phew! Honda sold 4, 92,416 units totally (domestic and exports combined) in August 2016 as compared to 3, 95,196 units in August 2015. Also, it sold 4, 66,342 units domestically in the same month as compared to 3, 73,136 units in August last year, which is a growth of 25 per cent. Another significant statistic is the fact that Honda's Year-On-Year sales grew by 97,220 units. This is also the second time in a row that Honda's scooter sales went past the 3 lakh mark to end at 3,36,393 units as compared to 2,46,763 units sold in August last year, growing by 27 per cent.
