Hyundai Venue N Line India Launch Highlights

Hyundai revealed the new Venue N Line last month, and now it has launched the variant in India. The sportier derivative of the company’s subcompact SUV, the Venue N Line gets a number of cosmetic tweaks to give it a more aggressive look along with a few tweaks under the skin as well. The carmaker also opened bookings for the new N Line last month, with buyers able to book the vehicle online via Hyundai’s Click To Buy platform or at dealerships. The booking amount is set at Rs 21,000. The Venue N Line is available in two trim levels – N6 and N8.

The Venue N Line gets a revised version of the ‘parametric jewel grille’ with smaller jewel-like chrome elements on the grille and a notable mesh pattern visible behind it. The grille also appears wider than on the standard variant with the gloss-finished frame on the sides now also featuring the parametric design elements. The front bumper too has been changed with a new unit featuring a vent in the centre, split skid plate-like elements and red highlights.
It gets new 16-inch alloy wheels are specific to the N Line with red highlights visible on the lower doors too. It gets a roof-mounted spoiler with the lower bumper featuring a different skid plate design to the standard SUV along with a visible dual-tip exhaust with Hyundai claiming that the N Line will feature a sportier exhaust note. Buyers will have three exterior colours to choose from – Polar white, Shadow Grey and Thunder Blue – with the latter only available in dual tone. Inside, the cabin is an all-black affair compared to the dual-tone colours of the standard Venue. Hyundai has additionally used red accents in multiple paces to add a sporting touch to the design.
Coming to the engine, the Venue N Line is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 118 bhp and 172 Nm of torque – identical to the standard model. Power will be sent to the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The N Line also gets four-wheel disc brakes with the front callipers finished in red to add to the sporty appeal.
